POROPETRA

Virva & Frost
From:
Official Website
Poropetra is ancient Finnish and means The Elk of Hiisi . Elk is an old totem animal for Finno-Ugric and Siberian peoples, so it's the best animal to describe our music. Our bottom line is in Baltic-Finnic traditional folk music, in runo-singing - tradition, and in kantele music. In this base we mix influences from throat-singing and modern metal. Our music can be described as ethnic kantelerock .
